Nationwide reach. Effortless performance. Always Eon
Have a Tesla that sits more than it drives? Rent it through Eon and earn from verified drivers and businesses. Fully insured and digitally managed by the Eon Network.
Monthly plans start at $30/day ($900/month for a Model 3 on a 6-month plan). All taxes and fees included. A $99 initiation fee and refundable security deposit apply. Tolls, supercharging, and extra mileage are billed at the end of each period. For drivers looking to rent a Tesla beyond a short trip, the monthly rental structure provides a clear view of costs over the full rental period.
Daily rentals start at $45 per day and include 300 miles per day. For longer trips, a six-month EV subscription is cheaper at $900 per month, which works out to $30 per day. Weekly subscriptions start at $350 per week and monthly at $1,000. Tolls, supercharging, and miles above the cap are billed at trip end. We offer drivers considering a Tesla rental program several durations to choose from based on how long they need the vehicle.
Eon offers the full Tesla lineup: Model 3, Model Y, Model X, Model S, and Cybertruck. Model 3 is the most affordable starting around $45 per day. A Model X rental features falcon-wing doors and seats up to seven. The Tesla Model S rental provides 400+ miles of range. Cybertruck and FSD-enabled vehicles are available in select cities.
Eon operates in more than 50 U.S. cities, including New York, Los Angeles, Miami, San Francisco, Chicago, Austin, Dallas, Houston, Boston, Seattle, Las Vegas, Atlanta, San Diego, Nashville, Orlando, and Phoenix. New cities are added every week. If you are searching for a Tesla rental car near you, availability in the app reflects the vehicles offered for your location and dates.
Yes. Eon accepts foreign driver's licenses, International Driving Permits, and licenses from more than 45 countries. No US credit history, US bank account, or US driver's license required. Most international drivers are verified within an hour and approved for every future trip. Eon delivers nationwide to airports, hotels, and offices, making it possible to hire a Tesla without navigating many of the requirements associated with vehicle ownership in the U.S.
Yes. Eon delivers to your home, office, hotel, or airport. Daily rental delivery is a paid add-on. Free delivery is included on monthly and six-month subscriptions within ten miles of your address. If you’re looking to rent a Tesla near you, we can bring the vehicle directly to an eligible address rather than requiring a trip to a rental counter. The Tesla arrives charged with phone-key unlock active. No counter, no shuttle, no waiting.
Charging is super easy. You can use any of the thousands of Tesla superchargers around the city or along the highways. The Tesla you hire will display the locations of superchargers along your route and guide you through them on your way to your destination. You’ll be billed for what you use at the end of the trip. We also include adapters for non-Tesla charging stations, giving your electric car rental access to additional compatible charging infrastructure.
Daily rentals include 300 miles per day, cumulative across the trip (a three-day rental includes 900 miles). Extra miles are $0.85 per mile. Subscriptions include 1,000 miles per month at the base tier with upgrades available up to 3,000 miles per month. Subscription overages are $0.50 per mile.
Cancel a daily rental at least 24 hours before pickup for a full refund minus a 5% processing fee. Cancellations within 24 hours or no-shows are non-refundable. Subscription cancellations require seven days notice for weekly plans or fifteen days for monthly and six-month plans, with a $99 short-notice fee.
You'll need insurance, but it does not have to come from us. Bring your own auto policy (subject to approval) or add an Eon Protection Plan at booking. Daily rentals offer four tiers (No Protection, Minimum, Standard, Premium). All paid tiers include state-minimum liability coverage and a $500 deductible.
Drivers must be at least 21 with a valid driver's license. Drivers between 21 and 24 incur a $30 per day young driver fee. The first two additional drivers are free, each with their own digital phone-key in the Eon app. Drivers under 21 cannot be added to a booking.
Yes. Every Tesla car rental opens with a two-minute video check-in covering the touchscreen, Autopilot, charging, and door handles. You're matched with a dedicated agent reachable by phone or text any time during your trip. Most first-time Tesla drivers feel comfortable inside five minutes thanks to the simple interface. This support gives first-time drivers a more approachable way to hire a Tesla without needing prior experience with an EV.
Yes. Eon offers business car rentals, corporate fleet plans, and long-term leases (subscriptions of one month, six months, or longer) for teams of one vehicle to one hundred or more. You get a dedicated account manager, app-based driver management, and volume pricing. Submit the business form on this site or contact our team for a custom quote.
As a Tesla rental company serving both individual and organizational mobility needs, Eon can also support businesses looking to incorporate EV rentals without building an owned fleet. If you’re comparing providers, choosing a Tesla rental service with multiple rental durations can make it easier to match vehicle access to the length and purpose of the trip.
